OAFR Dogs Of The Month

Opal is a super sweet girl that is ready for anything! She loves to go on adventures and enjoys a trip to the pet fairs, where she can taste test all the treats and food around! She's got a hilarious personality and is going to make such a great pet for such a wide variety of homes! She does best with kids age 6 and older, and is very dog friendly. Opal is crate trained and knows some basic commands like sit. Opal loves to be outdoors and go explore new places, but she also loves to chill by the couch and cuddle! Opal is a mixed breed dog with a few being German Shepherd, Husky and Terrier.

Morgan is an incredible young dog, weighing around 50 pounds and nearly 3 years old. After getting his DNA tested, we discovered that he is 64% Pitbull, 17% Siberian Husky, 14.5% Chow Chow, and 4.5% Boxer mix. Morgan is friendly and gets along well with people, children, and medium to large-sized dogs. He would thrive in a variety of homes, but is best suited for an active family that can take him on exciting adventures. Morgan is a quick learner and highly motivated by treats. He is already familiar with basic commands like sit, down, stay, and place, and is also crate trained. Additionally, he is proficient in using potty bells and walks well on a leash. Morgan is trained to respond to tools such as a prong collar and e-collar. 

Meet Dustin. He is a little shy when meeting new people, but after a sniff, he opens right up. Dustin is a little over a 1 year old and very friendly with other dogs! He can be a bit vocal when he plays with other dogs but he plays nice. He has a little bit of an alpha personality over other dogs, but is not aggressive. Dustin is high energy and looking for an active household that is going to keep him stimulated. He likes going on hikes, vacations, walks, and runs! A house with a yard for running would be ideal. Dustin is an Australian Cattle dog mixed breed.

Blanca is a sweet and affectionate Pitbull mix! Just a big love bug waiting for her forever family. She loves to chew on bones, all kinds of bones and she loves toys as well. She is 3 years old and weighs around 80 pounds. Blanca walks pretty well on the leash and can be even better with just a little bit of leash training. She is non reactive to other dogs when on the leash. She is dog friendly, good with kids, and great with people. She is medium energy and loves to go on walks and go to the beach! She has a calm demeanor and would be the perfect dog for a variety of homes.

Meet Gonzo, an amazing gentle giant. He is 4 years old, weighs 50 pounds, and is friendly with all dogs, people, and kids! Gonzo enjoys cuddling, playing, and being a protector. He has nothing but love to give with his affectionate personality. Gonzo is a mix of a dog called Super Mutt, and we believe he is a Carolina, Hound, and English Pointer. He is a, playful, and kind-hearted dog.

Meet Blaine, this adorable and sweet girl who is ready to steal your heart! At just 2 years old and weighing around 40 pounds, Blaine is a loving Carolina Dog mixed breed who enjoys sitting on your lap and soaking up all the attention she can get. She is fantastic with people of all ages, including children, and gets along well with other dogs, regardless of their size. Blaine is an easy-going dog who loves to play with toys and explore her surroundings.
